The Mantapoint Fleet
Our aim here at Mantapoint is to provide professional and private service on board
to all our diving and snorkelling guests. This can only be achieved in small groups
and with a limited amount of guests on board. Our boats cater for small groups of up
to eight diving or ten snorkelling guests maximum.
M/V Voyager II is a 16m long an 4m wide wooden vessel powered by a 168hp Hino
diesel and hydraulic gear with a travelling speed of 9 knots. She was launched in the year 2003 originally
as big game fishing boat. Renamed to Voyager II she underwent a complete revamp to
become a scuba diving vessel in December 2006 and since is successfully doing her new job,
bringing scuba divers and snorkellers from all over the world to Thailand's amazing dive sites,
helping us to promote the importance of marine life conservation worldwide.
Voyager II has a spacious and comfortable salon with coffee corner, minibar and ample
space dominated by a big sofa that invites guests to relax or even take a well-deserved nap
after some exciting dives at the tropical reefs of the Andaman Sea.
Sun lovers will find ample space to lay down and work on their tan on the bow deck and the party deck. The
stern half of the party deck is covered by a sun roof and offers seating for up to eight guests.
Of course there is a proper marine toilet with shower cabin on board. Two fresh water
showers at the diving platform help to freshen up after dives. The well-planned dive
station caters for 10 divers and up.
M/V Voyager III, our snorkelling live-aboard cruiser was launched in December 2007. She measures 21 metres in length
and is 4,6 metres wide. Equipped with a powerful 300hp marine diesel engine, Voyager III travels at a speed of 10knots.
Voyager III is the only existing liveaboard with proper cabins in Khao Lak that is dedicated to cater exclusively for snorkellers !
The design of our Voyager III reflects our philosophy which focuses on small groups, private service, fun, komfort and functionality.
One master cabin with retractable extra bed and ensuite bathroom, four twin bed cabins with private bathroom and one standard twin bed cabin
offer comfortable accommodation for up to 12 snorkeling guests. The master and comfort cabins are air-conditioned and provide ample storage space for your
travel baggage and come with 220V outlets and battery recharging station. Sliding windows assure that the cabins stay cool even if the
air-condition is switched off.
Two sun decks, plus the wide shaded party deck equipped with several benches and dining tables offer ample space to relax and
work on your tan between the snorkelling sessions and to enjoy the soothing surf of the Andaman sea while Voyager II is anchored next to
dream-alike tropical beaches. Also located on the upper deck is the galley from where we serve traditional Thai and western cuisine as
well as snacks between our snorkelling activities. The catering counter provides coffee, tea, cold drinks and an entertainment system with DVD, TV and Stereo.
Speedy, our traditional longtail boat is designed for small groups, is equipped with a proper sunroof, and travels at a
speed of up to 9 knots. Scheduled for our longtail boat are half day wreck diving excursions and snorkelling trips to reefs
located at Khao Na Yak national park, near Khao Lak.
Speedy won second place in a boat racing competition during the trutle festival in Thai Muang in 2006 for the province Phang-Nga.
